Botanikers und Mediziners C. de l’Ecluse (1526-1609). – „Die Arbeit „Fungorum in Pannoniis observatorum brevis historia“ (S. cclxi-ccxvi) des holländischen Botanikers ist die erste umfassende Monographie über Pilze und die erste regionale mykologische Flora“ (C. Vollbracht). – Der Clusius-Codex, eine Sammlung von 86 Pilzaquarellen, die Clusius in Ungarn malen ließ, war in der Druckerei des Moretus zunächst spurlos verschwunden. Später wieder aufgetaucht diente der Codex F. v. Sterbeeck als Vorlage für sein „Theatrum fungorum“ (Antwerpen 1675). – Im oberen Blattrand etwas wasserfleckig, sonst gut erhalten. – Complete part of „Rariorum plantarum historia“ (Antwerp 1601-1605), the main work of the Dutch botanist and physician C. de l’Ecluse (1526-1609).– „The work „Fungorum in Pannoniis observatorum brevis historia“ (pp. cclxi-ccxvi) by the Dutch botanist is the first comprehensive monograph on fungi and the first regional mycological flora“ (C. Vollbracht). – The Clusius Codex, a collection of 86 mushroom watercolors that Clusius had painted in Hungary, had initially disappeared without a trace in Moretus’ print shop. The codex later reappeared and served F. v. Sterbeeck as a model for his „Theatrum fungorum“ (Antwerp 1675). – Some waterstaining in the upper margin, otherwise in good condition.
