Sougez. – „L’oeuvre de quadre photographes parmi les plus grands … Albin Guillot est considérée comme représentante du „nu expressif“; Man Ray illustre le „nu stylisé“ et Schall, le „nu réaliste“; quant à Boucher; il est rattaché à la „fantasmagonie du nu“. En une phrase assez habile, Natkin distinguera ainsi l’esthétique de chacun: „pur résumer les différentes tendances photographie ce qu’elle sent, Man Ray ce qu’il pense, Pierre Boucher ce qu’il rêve, et ajouter que Schall photographie ce qu’il voit“.“ (C.
